Developing Staff through 360 Feedback

RMS offers two approaches to developing performance in individual participants of the Revalidation MSF process.

MSF COACHING WORKSHOPS - We deliver workshops that focus on using the feedback from an individual’s MSF Revalidation report to work on the competences and behaviours that are identified as weaknesses or development areas. The content of a typical workshop is outlined below:

. How to identify ‘coachable’ moments from the MSF data
· GROW and TRAIN models of coaching
· Coaching MOTs and how to use them
· Aligning MSF with the other assessment data from the Revalidation process to improve performance
· Using the MODE framework within a medical setting
· Key Skills such as Questioning, Listening, Summarising and Goal Setting

These one-day workshops can be run for those managers who are involved in giving MSF to participants but also to line managers who want to develop their direct reports performance as part of the Revalidation process. The format is fast-paced and engaging with a mixture of inputs from the tutors experience , individual and group reflection exercises, role-plays, etc.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING - Additionally, we can provide Certified Coaches and Chartered Psychologists to work with individuals using a combination of face-to-face sessions and telephone support as part of an agreed programme of support following the initial MSF session. RMS Coaches can work individually with MSF participating managers where you feel that they need someone objective and independent from outside the organisation because of the nature of the feedback, or in circumstances where the managers particular situation requires delicate handling. This form of coaching is customised to your particular needs so costs vary.
